The place was small and cute. The options were limited on the buffet bar but you could order from the menu. Favorite: green beans, spring rolls, sushi and noodles Less fav: the tofu (all) The service was good. Very attentive.

Excellent & well made like home meal veggie food. This veggie buffet is best for their quality & price. I am picky eater but love to eat out & support small business restaurant. $16 buffet in January 2025 in upscale area. What else you can ask for. Don't forget share some generous tips to the servers. They deserve it folks.

Great vegan food with very friendly servers. The $16.50 buffet is a great option which allows you to try the majority of the items on the menu. The food is made in small batches and replenished frequently, so it is fresh and delicious c mm. If you don't feel like AYCE, I highly recommend the Bento box for around $12 and allows you to choose an entree to go with predetermined side dishes. We're not vegan, but enjoy dining at Trendy Vegan because the food is delicious, fresh and healthy.

This little jewel is worth battling houston traffic to get to. I try to time my visits when I go to Costco. The buffet offer lots 9f goodies like their eggplant and green bean dishes, which I find myself craving. The a la carte menu offers additional gems. I wish they had more locations especially midtown area.

We've been meaning to visit Trendy Vegan for some time after relocating to Houston. It's located in the Greenway area across from Costco and LA Fitness and is convenient to access from most parts of town. There is a ton of parking in the shared lot with many other restaurants. The dining area is fairly large with booth and table options and when we went on a weekday evening, it wasn't too crowded. It also has lovely murals that give the space a funky vibe. When we visited, they offered a buffet option that is reasonably priced ($16.50 or so per person) with lots of different tasty dishes to choose from. We tried basically everything they had to offer. Their salt and pepper tofu, bean curd, and garlic eggplant were really yummy. Honestly, there were no misses. And everything tasted fresh including the sushi. You could go back for seconds or thirds and there was always enough of each dish. They also brought out freshly cooked items periodically and were very attentive to us throughout the evening. I understand they also have individual dishes available to order outside of the buffet option. We'll have to try those out as well. Give the Trendy Vegan a try and you won't be disappointed.

Went the day before thanksgiving and so glad we did!! Everything is vegan and so delicious!! Loved the eggplant and Lamartin, fried rice too! The garlicky fried green beans were phenomenal! You can choose Ala Carter or buffet but buffet is only 16.95 per person for dinner!! so we all went with that and kids are about $8 each! Great deal! You still have good service with them clearing tables and filling water while you pick more from buffet, cute little restaurant with booth seating and take reservations as well. Delicious food , definitely recommend!

Came here for a random weeknight buffet dinner (right after working out at the LA fitness across the street). It's a cute, quiet spot that's not too large but feels very welcoming. Upon entering, staff welcomed us and were super nice and polite throughout our dinner. They checked on our water and helped us refill our cups and cleared dirty plates and asked how we found the food. Food itself was all great, I don't usually eat solely vegan food but it was such a welcome treat! I particularly loved the green beans, egg plant, and salt and pepper tofu. I kept going back for those three and would return for the same! They also had some dessert options and I really liked the sesame ball as well as the coconut fruit soup. The latter was very refreshing and was a nice, light dessert. This is definitely a lowkey spot but well worth the cost for the buffet. They also have food you can just order so if you aren't feeling super hungry, you can order what you want and they'll make it fresh for you!

It is nice to finally have a vegan buffet place in the Greenway area, right across from Costco, location is very central. $16.99 per person for the lunch buffet, plus tax and tips. The selection of the buffet is not big, but it has all the essentials (e.g. stir fried green beans, salt and pepper tofu, egg rolls, sesame balls, pumpkin cake, fried rice, stir fried noodles etc.). The salt and pepper tofu is the best! Everything tastes great, not too oily, perfect for a quick and healthy-ish lunch. Service is great, everyone is friendly.

Really enjoyed Trendy Vegan. We were literally just in the area trying to grab a bite and I wanted something lighter. Parking was crazy on Saturday evening! All the businesses have designated parking and there are multiple signs about being towed. So good luck if you go on a Saturday! Luckily one of the nearby businesses was closed so we found a spot. They have a buffet that looked pretty good but the bento box was more affordable and came with enough food for me. I had the Singapore noodles with tofu added and spring rolls. The noodles were delicious! Loved the curry flavor with tofu and veggies. The salad was also good. Very simple with maybe a ginger dressing? Really enjoyed my meal. The spring rolls were somewhat lacking thoug. It was mostly breading of the roll. My partner ordered the Tokly salad. It said it came with edamame, but they don't put that in the salad anymore. Seemed odd that it would be called "Tokyo" without that and they didn't offer anything in exchange for that and didn't really apologize. Also, he was still hungry after that so that is something to keep in mind. Overall, I would go back. The buffet looked delicious and there's other things I'd like to try!

I love when I have the opportunity to come here with friends or on a solo date. Not only is the food absolutely delicious, but the staff is incredibly nice too. I'm so glad that they got rid of that QR code menu that gave the dining experience a hip and cool new way to order, but not everything has to be technology advanced. Ordering from a menu should be simple so I'm happy they went back to the roots. If you get here between 11 am to 3pm, you might be able to catch the buffet. It's very small, but quality is just as tasty. However if you choose to sample a little bit of everything, I'd suggest the garlic sauce eggplant, Japanese curry udon, salt and pepper tofu, green beans, and onion pancake, you get a side of rice. Everything is well seasoned and nothing lacks. Individually each large portion sized meal is $11.50 and especially perfect for two people. Even if you have a party of three, each person orders two meals then split the bill - it's definitely affordable. I tried the bento box which is filling for one person. The dandan noodles are cold, but so yummy. The sauces on each dish is unique to its own and doesn't overlap with other dishes. I just love this restaurant. Though its across town, I make that long drive for their food and exceptional service. You won't be disappointed at this all vegan establishment. Good for veg friends and carnivores.
